A Jefferson and Lewis County-based business has acquired the assets of a similar company in St. Joseph Missouri.
Climax Packaging, Inc., an affiliate of Climax Manufacturing, has taken over the assets of St. Joseph's Packaging, a manufacturer of folding cartons.
This enables the Climax companies to offer enhanced packaging options to their customers, says a press release from the company.
Climax employs 240 full time workers at its Paperboard and Packaging Divisions in West Carthage and Lowville.
