Watertown (Nathan Lehman WTNY) -- The next court date for Watertown City Councilwoman Roxanne Burns, regarding her drunk driving case, will be next Monday.

The "Watertown Daily Times" reports this morning that the judge in the case has denied a motion by Burns's legal council to have evidence in the case suppressed. Burns's defense had argued that certain evidence not be allowed in court because it was obtained through a warrantless entry into her home.

Burns is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol after leaving a party last December at Ives Hill Country Club, damaging a rail and leaving the scene.

At the time of the arrest, police say she had a BAC of .20%.
