Watertown -- Jefferson County's Undersheiff has been suspended with pay, days after accusations of sexual harassment were made against him.

Andrew Neff was accused earlier this week of having a sexual relationship with a convicted criminal. The woman, 42 year old Michele Bowens of Adams Center, has hired an attorney and has filed a notice of claim in preparation for a possible lawsuit against Neff and the rest of the sheriff's department, accusing Neff of using his police powers to gain sexual favors from her.

Sheriff John Burns confirmed to the media Wednesday that that Neff had been suspended pending the results of an investigation into the matter.
