Croghan -- A domestic altercation in the Town of Croghan tuned physical and has led to an arrest.

Sheriff's deputies say 31 year old Phillip Peck of Croghan began choking his girlfriend during an early morning Sunday dispute at their home on State Rt. 812, and threatened to kill her. Police were called and arrived to find Peck throwing items from the front porch, and onto the sidewalk causing damage. He is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief, and second degree unlawful imprisonment, as well as an additional charge of second degree harassment.

Peck was arraigned and ordered held in the Lewis County jail on $1000 cash bail.
