Bristol Palin was eliminated tonight in the fourth week of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars.”

“I had an awesome time and an awesome partner … and I wish everyone the best of luck,” Palin said when she learned she was going home.

Palin and actress Kirstie Alley had both been in the bottom two, putting them in jeopardy of being eliminated.

Palin had the second-lowest score after her rock ‘n’ roll routine last night.  Alley was the night’s low scorer after her Charleston.

Despite traditionally having earned low scores, Palin – a reality TV personality and daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin – had remained in the competition.

Elimination is decided based on combined judges’ and viewer votes. The star with the lowest combined total is sent home.

Tonight’s show featured a duet by singer Susan Boyle with former “Dancing” contestant Donny Osmond, and a separate performance by singer Christina Grimmie.

The stars also split into two teams for their upcoming freestyle dance. The team headed by actor Gilles Marini chose the song “Gangnam Style,” by the South Korean rapper, Psy, while Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson’s team will dance to “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen.

Returning next week to perform are Alley, Johnson, Marini, actress Kelly Monaco, Olympian Apolo Ohno, singer/actress Sabrina Bryan and TV personality Melissa Rycroft.
