Early morning house fire in Lyons Falls

Lyons Falls (WWTI) -- A Lyons Falls family awoke this morning to a fire that had started near their living room couch.

Fire officials say they responded to the report of a fire at the Klossner home on Markham Street in the Village of Lyons Falls. Cassandra Klossner called in the blaze just before 6am.

The home sustained heavy damage and might be deemed a total loss by investigators as they continue to look for the cause of the early morning fire.

The Red Cross is assisting Michael and Cassandra Klossner and their 4 children. Cassandra Klossner sustained frostbite to her feet.
