A Jefferson County man was hurt when his vehicle flipped after he swerved to avoid a deer on Route 81.
It happened early Monday morning in the town of Richland, according to the Oswego County Sheriff's Department.
Nathan Delorto, 22, was taken to the hospital in Watertown after his 2000 Kia veered off the west side of the northbound lane and landed on its roof in the median.
Driver inexperience and the deer's actions are listed as the contributing factors in the crash but deputies said the accident remains under investigation.
