Sandy Creek -- State Police are investigating a two car accident that occurred in the Town of Sandy Creek, at around 4:30 Monday afternoon.
Officials say, a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, driven by 23 year old Justina Denny, County Route 22 in Richland, was heading north on County Route 22 when she lost control of her vehicle on wet pavement and crossed over into the southbound lane and into the path of a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, operated by Jeanette Cobb, age 68, of Zephyrhills, Florida.
Justina Denny was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three passengers in her vehicle, Dakota Denny (age 5), McKenzie McGrath ( 7 months old), Jazmarie McGrath (age 2) were all transported to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Jeanette Cobb and a passenger were also transported to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
