(WTNY) -- A Hammond man has been indicted on charges stemming from a fatal two vehicle crash that occurred last fall in the Town of Theresa.
47 year old Mark Hujar is facing counts of criminally negligent homicide, third degree assault, reckless driving, unsafe passing, and other traffic related charges. Hujar is accused of reckless driving when back on October 18, he attempted to pass a vehicle on Rt. 37 and crashed head on into a second vehicle.
A passenger in that second vehicle, 53 year old Robin Broughan of Redwood, was killed. The other driver, Michael Horman of Redwood, was seriously injured.
Hujar pleaded not guilty Monday during his arraignment and was released on his own recognizance.
