Fire causes damage to a home in Redwood

The investigation is continuing into what caused a fire that heavily damaged a home in northern Jefferson County Tuesday afternoon. Firefighters were called to a home on Second St. in Redwood just before 3 pm yesterday. The fire heavily damaged the first and second floor of the home owned by Raymond Savage. Both he and his family are now receiving assistance as the house has been deemed uninhabitable. No injuries were reported.
