A home in St. Lawrence County was destroyed in an overnight fire.
Firefighters were called to the Hazel Mashaw residence at 1435 County Route 24 shortly after 3 a.m.
The Gouverneur Fire Department had mutual aid from Edwards, Harrisville and Richville.
Of two occupants of the home, one female was treated for chest pains, officials reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The home was covered by insurance.
