Fire destroys vacant farmhouse in Ellisburg
Ellisburg -- A farmhouse was destroyed as a result of a fire Wednesday night in Southern Jefferson County.
Crews were called to State Route 193 in the Village of Ellisburg at around 8 pm last night. The farmhouse was reportedly vacant and there is no word on a possible cause for the blaze. No injuries were reported.
The fire closed down Route 193 for several hours last night.
