Northern NY (WTNY) -- It's beginning to look more like Christmas weather-wise.
On Sunday the area was hit with it's first lake effect snow of the season. In the City of Watertown, less than an inch of the white stuff fell since Sunday afternoon. The traditional snow belt was hit the hardest, especially over the Tug Hill. In fact, northern Oswego County was hit hard, with reports of white out conditions and slippery roads.
Numerous accidents were reported and a section of Interstate 81 was closed for several hours.
