Five St. Lawrence County men Arrested for Child Pornography

Potsdam -- Special agents from Homeland Security along with the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department arrested 5 St. Lawrence County men, charging them with promoting and possessing Child Pornography.

The arrests stem from a 10 month undercover internet investigation under Operation Northern Net, which targets online child predators. Investigators found probable cause to issue search warrants at four residences in August.

Arrested are:

  • 30 year old Jeremy Cyrus, 37 Grove St. North Lawrence. Charged with 64 counts of Promoting the Obscene Performance of a Child Under the Age of 17, a class D felony and 64 counts of Possessing an Obscene Sexual; performance of a Child a class E felony. Cyrus had previously been arrested for 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon during the search warrant in August.
  • 62 year old Mark Nezezon, 1002 County Route 53, Brasher. Charged with 39 counts of Promoting the Obscene Performance of a Child Under the Age of 17, a class D felony and 39 counts of Possessing an Obscene Sexual; performance of a Child a class E felony.
  • 39 year old Mihael Delamontagnes, 1002 County Route 53, Brasher. Charged with 132 counts of Promoting the Obscene Performance of a Child Under the Age of 17, a class D felony and 132 counts of Possessing an Obscene Sexual; performance of a Child a class E felony.
  • 32 year old Jeremiah Rose, 188 Roosevelt Rd, Massena. Charged with Promoting the Obscene Performance of a Child Under the Age of 17, a class D felony and Possessing an Obscene Sexual; performance of a Child a class E felony.Rose was also charged with 2 counts of 4th degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a class A misdemeanor.
  • 29 year old Jonathan Delosh, 31 Spring St., Norwood. Charged with 10 counts of Promoting the Obscene Performance of a Child Under the Age of 17, a class D felony and 10 counts of Possessing an Obscene Sexual; performance of a Child a class E felony.
All five individuals were arraigned in Potsdam town Court and held on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. The men are all scheduled to appear in Potsdam Town Court on October 22nd.
