Five men arrested, trespassed on posted land to steal scrap metal

Five Jefferson County residents have been arrested after trespassing on posted land with the intension of stealing scrap metal.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested Rush F. Reynolds, 27, of Theresa, James C. Cook, 37, of Theresa, Philip D. Roberts, 29, of Richville, Dustin P. Countryman, 26, of Theresa, and Jeremy J. Prashaw, 32, of Richville.

All five men are charged with Trespassing, a violation.

It is alleged that on Monday, April 30th the five men intentionally, and knowingly, trespassed on the posted land with the purpose of removing scrap metal without the permission of the owner Asla, Inc.
