A Fort Drum soldier was killed in a rollover accident in Afghanistan last Friday.
Officials on post say 20 year old Pfc. Peter K.Cross was a member of the 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division.
The accident happened at Combat Outpost Carwile. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
Cross, a Saginaw, Texas native, is survived by his parents and two brothers. He joined the active duty Army in 2008 and came to Fort Drum in January.
