An inmate was released from Ogdensburg Correctional Facility on Friday, then promptly arrested as a fugitive from justice.
The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department says 32 year old Matthew Jones of New York City is wanted in Florida for violation of probation relating to his conviction for aggravated assault.
Jones was arraigned in Lisbon town court and remanded to county jail without bail.
