Watertown -- Watertown has a new Police Chief. Watertown's City Manager announced today that
Gary Comins has been promoted provisionally to the position after the retirement of
Joe Goss on June 30th.
According
City Manager John Krol, Chief Comins began his career with the City Police Department on June 24th 1985. Through his dedication and work ethic, Comins worked his way up through the ranks to, most recently, Police Captain.
Krol also announced the promotions of 3 other members of the Watertown City Police Department.
- Cheryl Clark has been promoted to Police Captain
- Charles Donoghue has been promoted to Police Lieutenant
- Mark Sutton has been promoted to Police Sargent
