Good news for Memorial Day Weekend travelers; Gas Prices still dropping

Rochester, N.Y. (13 WHAM) – Good news for travelers preparing for Memorial Day weekend; gas prices continue to fall.

The price for a gallon of gas dropped six cents in the past week to a local average of $3.88.

Prices at the pump are down more than 18 cents from a month ago and about 11 cents lower than a year ago.

The national average has fallen to $3.70 per gallon, down about three cents from last week.
