Gouverneur man struck and killed by motor vehicle on Route 12

Pamelia -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal Motor Vehicle accident that occurred shortly after 6:00am Thursday morning.

24 year old Travis Fuller of Gouverneur was flagging traffic as an employee of Jefferson Concrete when he was struck and killed. Investigators say Fuller was struck by a vehicle being operated by 76 year old Robert Kelsey of Lafargeville.

Travis Fuller was transported by ambulance to Samaritan Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Neither Kelsey or a passenger in the vehicle, Helen Kelsey, 73 were injured.

The accident is still under investigation. OSHA is also investigating the accident.
