A trash fire spread out of control in the St. Lawrence County town of Oswegatchie Monday, damaging a barn.
Fire officials say Travis Finley was burning trash during windy conditions at his property along the Lost Village Road.
The out-of-control flames damaged a barn on his property and also came close to a neighbor's residence and a fire truck before being doused.
Heuvelton, Rensselaer Falls, Lisbon and Brier Hill fire departments were on scene for about two hours early Monday afternoon.
