Hackett's will open its newest store in Gouverneur with a ribbon cutting on Saturday, August 23rd.
The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. and the store will open its doors at 9:00.
The store is in the location of the former WiseBuy's store on Route 11. It will employ up to fifty full and part time workers, more than twice that of the former WiseBuys.
The store will be a full line department store with premium name brand apparel, footwear and gifts, according to a press release from the company.
Earlier this summer Hackett's opened its tenth location in Sackets Harbor.
Hackett's, based in Ogdensburg, is one of the nation's oldest retailers with roots extending back to the early 1800s.
