Hammond (WTNY) -- A Hammond man has been arrested on sex abuse allegations that stem back almost a decade.
57 year old Gerald Scime was arrested Tuesday. The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department has charged him with first degree sexual abuse. Scime is accused of sexually abusing a minor with beginning in 2004 and lasting through 2010 when the alleged victim was 12 years old. Scime ran a campground in Morristown and police are trying to determine if there are additional victims.
He was arraigned and ordered held in the St. Lawrence County jail on $20,000 cash bail.
