Heuvelton -- The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office arrested 51 year old James King Sr of 134 State Street Heuvelton Tuesday. King is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
It is alleged that King engaged in inappropriate actions with a child less than 11 years old when the child was spending the night at his home during the early part of July. King was brought before Oswegatchie Town Justice Michael Hebert and committed to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.
An order of protection was issued barring King from any contact with the victim.
