A fire did moderate damage to a home and its contents in Lewis County Tuesday evening.
The flames broke out about 8 p.m. at the home of Barbara Nellenback and her grandson at 4250 Mud Lake Road in West Leyden.
The fire was put out by volunteers from West Leyden, Constableville and Boonville.
It was caused by an overheated stove pipe, with flames breaking out around the pipe and chimney area, according to fire officials.
The home, owned by Ms. Nellenback, is covered by insurance.
