Hospice facility opens, ready to accept patients
Watertown -- After months, the wait is finally over for Hospice of Jefferson County.
The organization has received state approval to begin admitting patients at their new facility on Gotham St. The State Department of Health on Friday okayed the certificate of occupancy for the residence, which has eight beds.
The facility was completed about a year ago and has been awaiting the final okay before admitting patients.
