Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a Three Mile Bay man for an alleged assault

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a Three Mile Bay man for an alleged assault that occurred May 20. Twenty five year old Scott Goutremout Jr. is alleged to assaulted a second man in a lot on Country Route 53 in the Town of Brownville. The alleged victim, Jeremy Warner, suffered a laceration to his head during the altercation and sought medical treatment. Goutremout turned himself into police and was charged with 3rd degree assault. He was given an appearance ticket for June 7.
