A Watertown man accused of intentionally setting fire to an apartment complex has been ordered held on $50,000 bail. Authorities say 25 year old Joshua Metzler of 717 State St. called 911 to turn himself in Tuesday evening. Metzler is accused of intentionally setting fire to an apartment complex at 239 High St. just after 3 am Tuesday morning. The apartment complex was heavily damaged and three people were sent to the hospital. Two for smoke inhalation and a third for leg injuries after she was forced to jump out of the building's second story to escape the blaze. A search warrant was executed at Metzler's residence Tuesday afternoon. Metzler was arraigned Wednesday morning and a preliminary hearing is planned for Monday.
