Kristian Loftus will spend up to 4 years in prison for 2nd degree Manslaughter
Watertown -- A Town of Watertown man who admitted to driving drunk in a crash that killed his neighbor last year has been sentenced.
Thirty six year old Kristian Loftus was sentenced to 1 and a third to 4 years in prison for the July 2011 crash on the Hadcock Road that led to the death of 52 year old Richard Sample. Loftus earlier pleaded guilty to a count of second degree vehicular manslaughter, admitting to being drunk when his pickup truck crashed into a motorcycle being operated by Sample.
