Krystal Rice lawsuit, the main issue at today's County Board of Legislators meeting
Nathan Lehaman (WTNY) - Watertown -- The recent lawsuit regarding the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department will be the main issue facing the county Board of Legislators later today. Reports over the weekend stated several members of the legislature are open to the possibility of an independent investigation of the department. This after Deputy Krystal Rice filed a lawsuit last week against the department, alleging sexual harassment after topless photos of her were taken by a detective several years ago and are now unaccounted for. The legislature is expected to meet in executive session to discuss the matter.
