A Lewis County man got punched through a glass door and ended up in the hospital after he allegedly created a ruckus at a home in Turin.

Sheriff's deputies were called to 5111 State Route 26 about 3 a.m. Saturday by a report of an unwanted, intoxicated male.

Before they could arrive, there was a second call, this time for an ambulance.

Deputies say 27 year old Thomas R. Sweredoski of Glenfield refused to leave the residence where he had been visiting the homeowners' daughter.  He allegedly yelled at the family and tipped over their dining room table.

After being escorted out, Sweredoski kicked at the door, trying to get back in as he continued to yell, deputies said.

That's when the property owner's son punched Sweredoski through a glass door, knocking him to the ground.

Sweredoski was taken to Lewis County General Hospital. Deputies went there and charged him with criminal mischief and criminal trespass.

He was arraigned and ordered held in lieu of $2,000 bail.
