A Lewis County man is accused of conspiring with two others to assault a Lowville man.
Sheriff's investigators charged 19 year old Alex Widrick of Croghan with assault and conspiracy.
They say Widrick and two others assaulted 22 year old Jordan Hurley on the Rice Road in Lowville.
Widrick was arraigned and remanded to county jail with bail set at $2,500.
The investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected, investigators said.
