Three local business teams will be taking an epic journey across the Northeast coast as they work to locate three missing children.
Thanks to the efforts of the Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce (GWNC), the FIREBALL RUN, a reality race show where contestants search for historical landmarks through clues (a scavenger hunt), has chosen Watertown as a destination city and will be filming in September.
Today the GWNC Chamber and FIREBALL RUN executive VP, David Hickman, announced that three area businesses will participate in the race.
Mike Colello of Frontenac Crystal Springs, Mark Gains of Stevens Media Group and Erica Leonard of Leonard Printing have all signed on to be a part of the show.
Each team says that joining the show wasn’t a question once they heard the main mission of the show is to locate missing children from across the country.
Northern Exposure, this years FIREBALL RUN race, has chosen three missing children.
The names of the children that Colello, Gains and Leonard will be searching for are:
- Qua’mere Rogers- Syracuse
- Aadam Hoffman- Buffalo
- Azora Hoffman- Buffalo
Mr. Hickman says that when the show was created they wanted to make sure that it had a national cause. Since the shows inception five years ago 38 missing children have been located nationally.
