A Louisville woman pled guilty to arson charges Monday in St. Lawrence County Court for setting fire to her home during an argument with her housemate.

54-year-old Dorothy M. Moore of Route 37 entered a plea to 4th degree Arson for the July 16th fire at her residence. The plea deal calls for her to be placed on interim probation for one year when she is sentenced November 10th. If she successfully completes the probation the felony plea will be reduced to a misdemeanor.

Moore admitted to pouring gasoline on rags and lighting them on fire after an argument with then-housemate Vincent Cook. Damage to the home was minimal

Moore was released to the supervision of probation pending sentencing.
