A St. Lawrence County man is accused of kicking a state trooper as he was being arrested in connection with a domestic dispute.

Canton-based State Police say 43 year old Michael R. Woodrow of 1001 County Route 14, Rensselaer Falls, called police on Sunday, saying he wanted another man removed from a residence.

The investigation, however, revealed that Woodrow had been causing the problems and that his girlfriend has asked that he leave, troopers said.

Woodrow agreed to leave but while troopers were making out their report, he allegedly made threats to officers that he would return before morning and get revenge.

That led to Woodrow being charged with harassment and while he was being arrested he allegedly kicked the arresting officer several times while walking to the patrol car. That led to an added charge of resisting arrest.

Woodrow was arraigned before Canton Justice Michael Crowe and remanded to county jail with bail set at $1,000.
