The theft of a prescription drug resulted in the arrest of a Watertown man on multiple charges Monday.
Michael Lee Barber, 48, of 140 Polk Street, Apt 10 is facing charges of Forgery 2nd Degree, Petit Larceny, Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Falsifying a Business Record in connection with incidents on September 19th at 1328 Washington Street, Watertown.
Barber allegedly signed the name of Damon B. Osgood of 279 State Street to a pharmacy prescription receipt log to obtain vicoprofen, a pain medication.
Barber was held without bail for arraignment this morning in Watertown City Court.
