An investigation is underway by the New York State Police following an accident on I-81 that left a Pennellville man in critical condition at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

Thursday evening at approximately 9:30 p.m. Michael G. Moore, 53, was struck by a 2009 Ford Pickup truck, driven by Wade Czajkowski, 39, of Calcium. Moore was crossing the northbound lanes, heading west, when Czajkowski struck him.
