Two St. Lawrence County residents were slightly injured in motorcycle accidents on Saturday.
State Police say 21 year old Murray Simons of Hammond was southbound on County Route 1 in Hammond when he hit a deer. He complained of pain to his hands and knees after being ejected from his bike and was taken to Claxton-Hepburn in Ogdensburg The deer was killed on impact.
Meanwhile, Barbara Martinez, 57, Winthrop, lost control of her motorcycle on a curve on the Dullea Road in Stockholm shortly before 9 a.m. and was ejected. She complained of back pain and was taken to Massena Memorial Hospital. State Police attributed that accident to driver inexperience.
