NY Air Brake consolidates, bringing dozens of new jobs

Watertown (WTNY) -- Bad economic news across the border actually means good economic news for the North Country.

The New York Air Brake has announced plans to close down it's facility in Kingston, ON. Some of those operations will be moved to it's Watertown facility. Company officials say it's an effort to consolidate operations and it will bring about 50 new jobs to the area.

The timeline for the closure of the plant in Kingston is to begin phasing out it's operations this fall and shutting the facility down entirely in earl 2014.
