The architect for the project is Aubertine & Currier from Watertown. Capitol Construction, also from Watertown, will handle the construction and Empire Northeast from Gouverneur will perform the mechanicals.
Kenneth Gardner, Director of Operations said, "This is an exciting time for the Rescue Squad. This building will enable us to function much more efficiently by providing us with the space we need. We have run out of space at our current location at 101 State Street, Ogdensburg. This project also allows for future growth for many years to come."
In 2011 the Rescue Squad, which consists of 55 volunteers, responded to over 2,400 calls of service.
