Dekalb -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies have charged 38 year old Bryan Moore, Canada Circle Ogdensburg, with Driving while intoxicated and failure to stop at a stop sign after the vehicle he was driving drove through home in Old Dekalb.
Police say, at approximately 11:45pm last night, Moore was traveling on County Route 17 and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of State Highway 812 and drove his car through a home that sits across from the intersection.
Moore was not injured as is vehicle traveled into the front of the house, through the living room and came to rest partially through the back wall of the house.
The house is 2 story residence seperated into to apartments. The downstairs tenant, a 29 year old pregnant female, was home with her 4 year old daughter. They were both sleeping in a bedroom that is just off the living room. Neither were injured. The upstairs tenant was not home at the time of the accident.
Moore's BAC was .11%. He is to appear in the Town of Dekalb Court at a later date.
According to police both the car and the house were demolished.
