Volunteers will mobilize to make Watertown's Black River look its very best on Saturday.
Operation Black River Cleanup is being held July 18th as part of American Outdoors National River Cleanup Week.
Volunteers will assemble at the Hole Brothers Whitewater Park at 9 a.m. Teams will be organized and assigned to areas along the river at Hole Brothers and the Bicentennial Trail at the Fairgrounds.
Work will include trash and brush clearing, aimed partially at connecting the trail at JCC to the Bicentennial Trail.
Lunch will be provided a prizes awarded.
