Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse’s freshman center DaJuan Coleman will be undergoing knee surgery and be out four weeks, the university announced Monday.

The school says Coleman will have a surgical procedure done on his left knee on Tuesday.

He is expected to be recovered and able to return to the basketball team in four weeks.

Coleman has averaged five points per game this season.

If Coleman is out for exactly four weeks, he would return March 2 against Louisville inside the Dome.

Coleman is a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School.
