Oswego County Man arrested after Shoplifting & Damaging Cart Corral at Watertown Hannaford

Watertown - An Oswego man is facing charges after allegedly stealing from Hannaford Grocery Store and then backing his truck into a cart corral.

Samuel T. Porter, 22, of 1126 County Route 22, Altmar, NY 13302, and Amber R. Connor, 24, same address, are being charged with Petit Larcey, a misdemeanor. Porter and Connor, each aiding and abetting each other, passed all points of purchase without rendering payment for the property in hand at Hannaford Grocery Store in the Pioneer Plaza in Watertown.

Porter is also charged with Criminal Mischeif in the Fourth Degree for recklessly damaging a cart corral by backing into it with a 1988 Chevrolet pickup truck.
