The investigation into a one vehicle fatal crash in Jefferson County last summer has lead to the arrest of the driver on multiple charges.

It was approximately 2:40 AM, on State Route 3 in the Town of Ellisburg, at the intersection of South Landing Road, when 27-year-old Christopher M. Gneiding died when the car he was riding in, a 2008 Dodge Charger, went into a ditch then struck several trees.

The driver, Thomas J. Collins, 26, of 1040 Hawthorn Rd, Allentown, Pennsylvania was arrested Saturday on charges of Vehicular Manslaughter 1st Degree, Aggravated DWI, and Failure to Keep Right.

According to troopers, Collins' BAC was .18%.
