A Clayton teenager used a counterfeit drivers license to buy beer, apparently for three other underage persons, state police say.

Michael Dano, 18, is charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, unlawful possession of alcohol and unlawfully dealing with a child.

Investigators say Dano presented a counterfeit Vermont drivers license at Philly Fuels in Philadelphia on March 13th, buying beer and leaving the store with three additional underage companions.

Dano was issued appearance tickets returnable in Village of Philadelphia court.

No charges are pending against employees of Philly Fuels, investigators said.
