Police: Richville man left injured cow

A St. Lawrence County man is accused of leaving a cow that had been injured by a car.

Daniel D. Miller, 42, 473 Welch Road, Richville, is charged with abandonment of an animal under the Agriculture and Markets law.

State Police say Miller left a cow in a ditch off the Scotch Settlement Road in Gouverneur for over 12 hours after the cow had been hit by a car and significantly injured.

Miller will face the charge in town of Gouverneur court.
