Police releasing very few details on woman who died falling from a vehicle on Mill St
Watertown (Nathan Lehman WTNY) -- Watertown City Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a woman who fell from a moving vehicle Sunday night on Mill St.
Authorities say the victim, 24 year old Angela Perdue of Winslow St. exited the vehicle and was struck by an SUV and then dragged for a short distance. It's not known if she intentionally exited the vehicle, fell out, or was pushed.
The driver has been identified as 24 year old John Preston of Dayton, TN. Police are releasing few details on their investigation. The incident happened just before 7:30 pm Sunday evening.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
