Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse University men’s basketball team slipped again in both major college polls on Monday.

The Orange fell to No. 19 in the Associated Press poll and No. 20 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.

Gonzaga retained its top spot in both polls, followed by Duke, Indiana, Louisville, and Georgetown.

SU fell on the heels of a blistering 61-39 loss rival Georgetown.

The Orange will play in the Big East Tournament this week in New York.

The No. 5 seed, SU has a bye. They will play either Seton Hall or South Florida in the second round.

A complete listing of both polls is available on USA Today’s website.
