Sales tax revenue is up for Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties
Nathan Lehman WTNY -- There was some good financial news coming to the three local counties Monday. Sales tax revenues are up. According to the numbers for the recently completed second quarter of the year, revenue in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties is all up from this same time last year.
In Jefferson County, people spent quite a bit of money over the last three months. Revenue is up 11% from the second quarter of 2011.
